2009 Kawasaki Monster KX
The 2009 Kawasaki KX450F is a fact dealership floors and it comes with a series of improvements that have more than enough for a preview of this new model year. As with all previous generation models, the aim was to power and speed and improve reliability and driver comfort and looks.
Kawi is very proud of their different KX450F and they also have enough reasons to be excited about the years that follow. You see, more power and less weight will always do the trick in the right hands.
Review of their higher-end model motocross, Kawasaki engineers every aspect of the bike. We ll start with the front and state that they changed the damping and spring rates of the fork, which features the Kashima Coat on the inside of the fork outer tubes and the Diamond-Like Carbon (DLC) coating on the outside of the fork inner tubes . By doing this, friction is greatly reduced and the fork and strength and speed is very smooth. This is also the 2009 model years fork s marked, so at least we know that it proved effective.
The Kayaba damper has a large 50mm piston, high and low adjustable rebound, compression and adaptability Kashima Coat treatment on the cylinder of reduced friction and smoother suspension action. Spring rate and damping settings are also reviewed.
Kawasaki claims to have the new KX lit and treatment with a new steering shaft axis and, until we actually on the bike, we are not completely underestimate the Greens.
By simply improving the fork action and tighten maneuvering, the 2009 Kawasaki KX450F already sounds like a bigger bike. But the engine and midrange power and SPD was more serious because of the use of a new programmable ECU. All riders have the opportunity to ride the bike to work on their demands, which is a nice thing to have a bike that you plan to drive to the limit set.
The actual engine gets a different crankshaft with more internal inertia for better traction and low-end performance, new camshaft and, more important, a Box-Bridged Bottom Piston (like Kawasaki Racing on dirt bikes). The fact that both the piston is lighter and stronger, and improves engine power and speed, but also had much to do with the new, thicker and larger radiators and 40mm shorter head tube than the 2009 model.
While the transmission case is only strengthened the association entirely new (different operating plate improves oil flow and friction plates feature approximately 75% more friction material).
